Garden City Public Library is pleased and honored to welcome Mary Calvi, American television journalist and First Lady of the City of Yonkers, NY. She is the co-anchor of CBS2 This Morning and CBS2 at Noon at WCBS-TV in New York City, and the recipient of 9 Emmy Awards. Her debut novel, DEAR GEORGE, DEAR MARY reveals why George Washington had such bitter resentment toward the Brits, established nearly two decades before the American Revolution. It also unveils details of a deception long hidden from the world that led Mary Philipse to be named a traitor, condemned to death and left with nothing.
