The NCLA Executive Board wishes to provide the NCLA membership with notes from the meeting with NCCSC that took place on May 10, 2019. It contains important information about UPCOMING CHANGES TO THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE LIBRARIAN II, LIBRARIAN III, AND LIBRARY DIRECTOR CIVIL SERVICE EXAMS. Some of these changes, which will impact the scoring of the exams, are significant, so please do read everything carefully if these exams pertain to you.
In addition, to help everyone navigate the Civil Service online application process, Mamie Eng will be holding a new workshop to assist librarians in setting up their Civil Service account and building their profiles. The first session will be on Friday, June 28, 2019, at 9:30, with the second session in mid-July. Please see the full post for more information.
