For some members of the Library community, advocacy in New York State will look different this coming year. Our traditional trip to Albany will be taking place VIRTUALLY! However, your “presence” will still be needed, although in a different form.
NY Library Advocacy is scheduled for February 26, 2021. Please save the date on your calendar and check our Library Advocacy Day page for updates and registration.
Be prepared to send e-mail messages to your state leaders (Assemblyperson, Senator, Governor), make calls to their local offices, send letters, and most of all, talk to your friends, neighbors and colleagues about the need for Library support and financial aid.
