The Read Woke Challenge challenges readers to read books that challenge the social norm and give voice to the voiceless. Named a 2019 Library Journal Mover and Shaker and the 2020 National School Librarian of the Year, presenter Cicely Lewis is a school librarian with a passion for creating lovers of reading. Creator of the Read Woke Challenge, she will share her inspirational story of how she came up with theRead Woke Challenge and give us the tools we need to start the challenge at our own libraries.
