2024 Library Advocacy Day: Prep Sessions & NCLA Bus information

Library staff and trustees are invited to Library Advocacy Day prep sessions on Wednesday, January 31. Register here for one of three participation options:
  • In-person at NLS from 9:30 – 11:00 am
  • Live Virtual from 12:00 – 1:30 pm
  • Recording only
NLS Director Caroline Ashby and Assistant Director Nicole Scherer will brief attendees on how to participate in Library Advocacy Day on February 7, 2024. The session will cover statewide and local talking points for advocating for an increase in library funding in next year’s state budget.
Please note:
  • All registrants will receive the recording the day after the live sessions.
  • Registrants for the virtual session will receive the entry link the day before the session.
  • CEUs or Trustee Training certificates will be issued as applicable to those who complete the in-person or live virtual session.
