MISSION STATEMENT

  • The Committee will serve as an advocate
    for the recruitment & professional development
    of librarians and support staff of color.
  • The Committee will advocate for diverse
    library collections, programming and practices.
  • The Committee will serve as a visible reminder to
    NCLA of the necessity to address the needs unique
    to minorities working in libraries.
